CanadaStrike Canada Ltd. (“CanadaStrike”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the personal information of our players and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard your data in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta’s PIPA), and all applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

2. Who We Are
CanadaStrike Canada Ltd. is an iGaming operator licensed by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) and operating under a commercial agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) pursuant to the iGaming Alberta Act, S.A. 2025, c. As a licensed operator, we are subject to strict regulatory oversight including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations, and responsible gambling standards set by AGLC and AiGC.
3. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that is necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of our platform. This includes:
- Identity Information: Full legal name, date of birth, government-issued ID (driver’s licence, passport), and selfie verification for KYC purposes.
- Contact Information: Email address, phone number, and residential address including postal code.
- Financial Information: Payment method details (card numbers are tokenised and never stored in full), transaction history, deposit and withdrawal records.
- Account Information: Username, hashed password, account preferences, bonus history, responsible gambling tool settings.
- Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, geolocation data (to confirm you are physically located in Canada), session identifiers and cookies.
- Usage Data: Betting history, game logs, pages visited, search queries within the platform, click-stream data, and session duration.
- Communications: Records of live chat conversations, email correspondence, and call recordings (where legally permitted and disclosed to you at the start of the call).
We collect information directly from you when you register, deposit, bet, or contact support. We may also receive information from third-party identity verification providers, fraud prevention agencies, and payment processors.
4. How We Use Your Information

- Account Management: To create and manage your player account, verify your identity and age (19+), and authenticate logins.

- Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, run A/B tests, fix bugs, and improve the performance and user experience of our platform.
- Dispute Resolution: To investigate complaints and resolve disputes between players and CanadaStrike.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Under applicable Canadian privacy law, we rely on the following bases to process your personal information: (a) your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; (b) the performance of a contract (your account agreement with us); (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) our legitimate interests in operating a safe, secure, and compliant iGaming platform, provided those interests do not override your fundamental rights.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information with:
- Regulatory Bodies: AGLC, AiGC, the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), and law enforcement agencies, where required by law.
- Identity Verification Providers: Third-party KYC services to confirm your identity and age.
- Payment Processors: Banks, Interac, card networks, and digital wallet providers to process transactions.
- Fraud Prevention Services: Agencies that help us detect and prevent fraudulent activity.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of five (5) years after account closure, as required by AGLC regulations and AML obligations. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years. Communications records are retained for three (3) years. Data held solely for marketing purposes is deleted promptly upon withdrawal of consent.
9. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and Alberta’s PIPA, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected.
- Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent to optional processing (e.g. marketing) at any time.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including: TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit; AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest; multi-factor authentication for account access; role-based access controls limiting staff access to personal data; regular penetration testing and security audits; and a dedicated information security team monitoring for threats 24/7.
In the event of a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant regulatory authority as required by law.

12. Children’s Privacy
